Paul Jennings has long been considered one of the UK's top percussionists, playing drum set as well as an array of percussion and hand drums including Cajon, Darabuka, Djembe, congas and electronics. He has toured the US more than a dozen times and as part of one US tour Paul performed a three-week run on Broadway in New York City.
In his decade-long career he has traveled the world inspiring audiences with his energetic and engaging performances. Paul's unique style of playing has earned him spots with many of Scotland's top bands and he has now featured on over 20 albums.
In the past year he has performed to sell out audiences with the Scottish 13-piece super band, The Treacherous Orchestra, completed an acclaimed album with Acoustic/Roots band Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers and in 2005 he co-composed and performed a pioneering musical commission for the Celtic Connections festival, Europe's largest winter festival, with fellow percussionist Fraser Stone. Their commission was performed at the festival in 2006 and 2007 and sold out both years running.
As well as touring internationally in over 17 country's, Paul has also received rave reviews for his work from The New York Times, Washington Square News, Canada's Globe and Mail and Chronicle Herald as well as primetime television appearances on ABC's Live with Regis and Kelly, CBC Canada and WNBC New York.
